Exciting Day in the Frensham Archive! We were joined by archive extraudinaire Sally Marriott and two keen volunteers from the community who helped us look through some incredible pieces of history. We sifted through at least 100 letters written by the first headmaster of Frensham Heights to his mother during the First World War. In order to preserve the letters, we made sure they were stored in archival sleeves and labelled for easy identification. ![]() But that's not all. We're just getting started with this project and within this donation, there are even more fascinating artifacts waiting to be explored, relating to Frensham's past. We can't wait to see what treasures we uncover next week. If you have an interest in history and would like to be involved in this exciting project, then please do send a message to of@frensham.org |
